A BC Transit bus has struck a pedestrian on Tuesday morning in the streets of Victoria.
A BC Transit bus has struck a pedestrian on Tuesday morning in the streets of Victoria.
The incident took place shortly after 8 a.m. in the 2800-block of Douglas Street, close to the intersection of Burnside Rd.
Following the incident, a man was seen lying on the street being tended to by paramedics. He was alert and talking.
He was transported to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services. At this time, it is uncertain whether the man sustained any life-threatening injuries.
Large cracks could be seen on the windshield of the transit bus following the crash.
An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
