Traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway in Langford was snarled Sunday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a police cruiser.
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes near the Millstream Road off-ramp and involved a black SUV and an Integrated Road Safety Unit cruiser.
West Shore RCMP confirmed on social media that a police vehicle was struck and that they are on scene, but did not provide any further details about the incident.
Northbound traffic on the highway is being diverted at Millstream Road.
It’s unclear whether there were any injuries. CHEK News has reached out to West Shore RCMP for further information.
