Sidney residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about what their municipality is doing amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Town of Sidney has announced that it will be holding a virtual town hall forum on April 5 at 2 p.m.

It will feature mayor Cliff McNeil-Smith and Randy Humble, Sidney’s emergency operations centre director, who will be providing information about the town’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual town hall will be hosted on Zoom, a free video meeting platform that can be used on a desktop computer as well as Apple and Andriod devices. Residents will be able to ask questions through Zoom, towards the end of the town hall.

Radio Sidney will also be broadcasting the event. However, those who tune into Radio Sidney will not be able to participate in the question period.

The Town of Sidney previously held a virtual town hall on the coronavirus on March 29.
