Residents in Comox will have somewhere to go and cool off for the next couple of days, should they need it.

The Town of Comox has announced it has opened at the Comox Community Centre from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. today (Aug. 30) and Aug. 31.

A misting station will also be established on the corner of Comox Ave and Port Augusta that will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 30 and Aug. 31. There is also a misting station outside of the Comox Fire Hall.

Additionally, the Town of Comox says residents can take advantage of the Rotary Splash Park between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
