RCMP are investigating after three metal heron statues and several other items were stolen from an art gallery in Courtenay on Nov. 28.

On Tuesday, Comox Valley RCMP were called to the I-Hos Gallery in the 3300-block of Comox Road after a break-and-enter sometimes overnight.

Police said unknown suspects cut a hole into the exterior wall and then got into the building. Several items were stolen from the gallery, including clothing, wine glasses and the three statues.

The Comox Valley RCMP Crime Reduction unit, with the assistance of the Integrated Forensic Identification section.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Nov. 28 or have any information regarding the break-and-enter, as well as the theft, are asked to call Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
