Teen allegedly assaults bus driver at Langford exchange: RCMP

West Shore RCMP is investigating after a teen allegedly assaulted a bus driver at the Station Avenue bus exchange in Langford last month.

According to a release, a teen assaulted a BC Transit bus driver after a verbal altercation on April 21 at 2:44 p.m.

“Public transportation should be a safe experience for both passengers and drivers. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect,” said Const. Andrew Matheson, West Shore RCMP media relations officer.

The suspect is described as a teenager between the ages of 13-18, approximately 5’11 with brown medium-length wavy or curly hair. He was wearing a brown and black two-tone jacket, grey backpack and carrying a skateboard.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to contact the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.
