Firefighters in Campbell River managed to save a home and nearby properties after a fire broke out in a travel trailer early Wednesday morning.
The Campbell River Fire Department was called to battle the blaze on Nursery Road at 12:30 a.m.
The fire fully destroyed the trailer but the two people inside were able to escape without injuries.
The flames damaged a nearby home, two vehicles, a shed and a fence, but Campbell River Fire was able to stop it there.
The Campbell River Fire Department says the fire is considered suspicious and under investigation.
