A man is under arrest, suspected of impaired driving, after a vehicle crashed into a home in Vic West early Monday morning.
Police were called to the 900-block of McCaskill Street just before 1:30 a.m.
Officers found that a vehicle had slammed into a house and the driver and lone occupant had fled the scene.
He was located a short distance away and arrested, he was then taken to hospital for an assessment.
Nobody inside the home was injured.
VicPD say the damage to the home was minor, but that there is significant damage to the yard of the property.
The investigation is in its early stages but VicPD say they believe impairment was a contributing factor.
