Surrey transit police shooting suspect Daon Glasgow arrested

A man who police say may be connected to the shooting of Transit Police officer Cst. Josh Harms has been arrested.

Surrey RCMP says Daon Gordon Glasgow was taken in custody at Rumble Street and Boundary Road at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Harms was shot on Wednesday while on duty the Scott Road SkyTrain station around 4:20 p.m but his injuries are not life-threatening.

The arrest followed a manhunt spanning four days and involving around 80 officers.
