Sunny but windy weekend for Vancouver Islanders

WATCH: A strong ridge of high pressure over B.C.’s south coast will bring mainly sunny skies across Vancouver Island this weekend.

But along with the sunshine, expect wind in most regions, strongest along exposed coastal sections.

Temperatures will remain seasonal with daytime highs from 9 to 14 degrees, and overnight lows from 5 C down to 2 C.
