A stretch of Oak Bay Avenue is expected to be closed for several days as crews complete emergency sewer repairs, according to the District of Oak Bay.
The district in a notice says the repair project between Mitchell Street and Foul Bay Road is scheduled to start Monday, Oct. 16, “and is expected to be finished within four days.”
It says barricades will be in place on Oak Bay Avenue at Foul Bay Road and west of the entrance to the parking lot at 2014 Oak Bay Ave., with detours via Mitchell and Elgin roads.
“We shall endeavour to keep any inconvenience to a minimum. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding…” the district said in the notice.
