CHEK
A CHEK viewer on Pender Island challenged Tess van Straaten to come up with a more positive word to replace “drizzle”.
Donna wrote us to say drizzle just sounds too depressing.
With some help from viewers on social media, we came up with the following options:
- Mizzle — which is actually a weather term meaning mist and drizzle
- Spritzing — which sounds refreshing and fun
- Irish Mist or Scottish Mist
- Sprinkles — pretty hard for sprinkles to be depressing
- Dritz — drizzle’s hipper cousin
