Police respond to a stabbing on Sellars Road in Sooke.
Sooke RCMP have arrested one suspect after a morning stabbing that sent one man to hospital.
The stabbing occurred on Sellars Road in Sooke at around 10:15 a.m. Police said a 64-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 28-year-old man was arrested in the same area for assault with a weapon.
The man, whose name has not been released by police, is still in custody and the investigation is ongoing. Police said both men are local residents and are known to each other.
