Dana Lajeunesse won the Sooke Council by-election by a margin of only three votes.
A by-election for a Council seat in Sooke has been won by a margin of only three votes, according to preliminary results posted to the District of Sooke website.
Candidate Dana Lajeunesse narrowly eked out a win over his closest opponent, Kevin Pearson, with 286 votes cast for Lajeunesse and 283 for Pearson.
