A man who failed to return home after heading out on a camping trip last week has been found and is safe, according to police.
Henry Kitchell set out on the trip Tuesday, Oct. 18 and had planned to stop at Fairy Lake before heading to Carmanah Park.
He was never confirmed to have made it to Fairy Lake, prompting concern from his family.
However, police confirmed Tuesday morning that Kitchell “has been located and is safe,” but did not provide any other details.
