

The forecast for Victoria for the rest of the week and early next week. (Environment Canada).
It may not be “snowmageddon” but Victoria could see some white stuff next week.
According to Environment Canada, there a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries on the night of Feb. 3. Temperatures are also set to drop, with a high of 5 C during the day and a low of -2 C at night. The Malahat may also see rain showers or flurries Sunday night.
The cooler temperatures are expected to continue into the week. Monday is expected to have a high of 3 C with a mix of sun and cloud and a low of -4 C at night. Tuesday will also see a high of 3 C with a mix of sun and cloud.
Snow is also in the forecast for Port Alberni. There is a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries, with a low of 1 C, for Feb. 2 followed by a 60 per cent chance of flurries during the day on Feb. 3. The night is supposed to be clear.
Washington state may also see some snow showers Sunday night into Monday as a cooler system arrives but snow accumulation is expected to be low.
