WATCH: Snow falling at MacNeill Bay in Oak Bay.
On the weekend, the Island was pounded the white stuff from Shawnigan Lake to the Comox Valley.
Nanaimo was the hardest hit with nearly 30 centimetres of snow and with cold temperatures, the snow is expected to stay on the ground for several days.
