Snoop Dogg, Incubus to headline Laketown Shakedown

Rap fans, rejoice. Snoop Dogg is headlining the Laketown Shakedown music festival in the Cowichan Valley in June.

California-based Incubus will also headline the festival, which runs from June 28-30 at the Laketown Ranch in Lake Cowichan.

The all-ages festival will also feature Smash Mouth, Sublime with Rome and Black Pistol Fire. The B.C. acts include Bend Sinister, Five Alarm Funk, Stickybuds and Metchosin’s own Jesse Roper.

While this music festival is going ahead, another popular festival, Rock the Shores, was cancelled for 2019. Organizers of the Colwood festival said there were a combination of factors that led to the cancellation, including access to talent and the right collection of artists that could support the event.
