SMUS Student offered professional rugby contract

17-year-old St. Michael’s University School student Quinn Ngawati is promptly following in his family’s footsteps. Ngawati’s extended family hails from New Zealand where Rugby is as big, or perhaps bigger, than hockey is to Canadians. His relatives include an All Blacks legend and a Rio Games Rugby Sevens Silver Medalist. And after an impressive training camp with the Toronto WolfPack, it appears Quinn is ready to take the next step in his rugby journey.
