A celebration of life will be held for a homeless man who was killed after a garbage truck accident in Victoria last week.
The service to honour Lloyd Soluk, known as Jo, will take place on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 983 Pandora Ave in Victoria.
Our Place released the man’s identity and service details Thursday.
Officials said Soluk died on Aug. 1 after he was crushed when the dumpster he was sleeping in at a downtown parking lot was emptied into a recycling truck.
The incident is still under investigation.
