A semi tractor crashed off Highway 19 on Oct. 22, 2019.
Traffic was down to one northbound lane on Highway 19 near Nanoose Bay Tuesday morning after a semi-tractor crash.
The driver of the truck crashed off the side of the highway into an embankment near Hillview Road, eight kilometres north of Nanaimo, at around 9 a.m. No other vehicles were involved in the collision. The tractor was not attached to a trailer at the time.
The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Crews removed the truck and the lane opened at around 11:50 a.m.
