Rescue crews say a man who was missing Sunday near Sooke Potholes has been found and is safe.
Juan de Fuca Search and Rescue member Kathryn Farr says he was found trying to make his way back on the proper trail out.
He was with a group of six who split up, and went missing while he was trying to let the group continuing on summit know that the other group was doubling back.
“We are thrilled he came out, other than cuts a bruises he was in great shape.
Crews were sent out around 3 p.m.
