Body of missing 64-year-old man discovered at Horth Hill Regional Park, death not considered suspicious

The search for a missing 64-year-old man ended Wednesday after search and rescue volunteers found his body at Horth Hill Regional Park.

Paul Hare was last seen at his North Saanich home on Sunday, July 28 and was reported missing Monday. The search shifted to the park Tuesday.

Police said they have no indication that his death is suspicious.

The Peninsula Emergency Measures Organization (PEMO) search and rescue team assisted police in searching Horth Hill Regional Park for Hare.

Hare was reportedly driving a 2003 black Ford Ranger when he went missing but that vehicle has been found at Horth Hill Regional Park by police.

Anyone who saw Hare or his vehicle on July 28 is asked to call Sidney/North Saanich RCMP at 250-656-3931.
