Police in Salmon Arm, B.C., are asking the public to keep an eye out for a vehicle that travelled from Vancouver Island to the mainland that’s believed to be involved in multiple thefts.
On Thursday, RCMP from the city east of Kamloops said they were searching for a grey 2022 Ford Explorer SUV, as well as two men who were inside the car.
A witness told police that the two men inside the car were aged 30 to 50 years old, and were of middle eastern descent.
Mounties say the suspects are believed to be involved in a theft on Vancouver Island, as well as at several businesses in Salmon Arm, particularly shops that sell electronics, cell phones and jewelry.
While the SUV came from Vancouver Island, police say it has a Quebec licence plate with number FSH7910.
Anyone who spots the vehicle is asked to call their local police and not approach the SUV.
The Salmon Arm RCMP can be contacted at 250-832-6044.
