WATCH: Former Peninsula minor hockey player Micah Zandee-Hart will make her IIHF World Championship debut next month in Finland.
The 22-year-old defenceman grew up playing rep hockey with boys up until her Bantam season. Hart then played her remaining teen years at the Okanagan Hockey Academy before accepting a scholarship to play at the NCAA Div. 1 Cornell University. Hart, a Stelly’s Secondary alum, has represented Canada before but next month will mark her first appearance at the senior women’s world championship level.
