Saanich Police warn of reported cougar sighting on McKenzie Avenue

Saanich Police warn residents living around the 600-block of McKenzie Avenue to use caution after reports of a cougar being seen in the area.

Police say it happened around 4:20 p.m.

Conservation Officers were notified, but did not attend the area.

Police are advising people to use caution while walking in the area and to secure small pets.
