Saanich Police have reported that Robert Gray, who is wanted under a mental health warrant, has been located.
Gray, who was the subject of a missing person file out Sidney/North Saanich RCMP last week, was found safe Thursday afternoon according to Saanich Police after searching for him Wednesday.
Officers attended the area of McKenzie Avenue and Quadra Street around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday to locate him.
Police said the man was spotted several times, but fled the area and was seen running through backyards on McBriar Avenue and Ambassador Avenue.
Police said in a statement Wednesday there were “significant concerns for his mental well-being, and he poses a danger to himself and possibly others.”
