Saanich Police is seeking help from the public to find a teen who’s been missing for nearly a week.

The 17-year-old was last seen around 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8 at his group home in Saanich’s Carey neighbourhood.

In a press release, police say the teen has black hair, stands at 5′ 9″ and weighs around 140 lbs. It’s not known what he was last wearing.

Known to frequent the 900-block of Pandora Avenue in downtown Victoria, his care team is concerned about his recent drug use and declining mental health, “which often presents as aggressive behaviour,” according to police.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911, and those with information about his whereabouts should call Saanich Police at 250-475-4321.
