Saanich police say a missing 84-year-old man has been found safe.
Saanich police say the 84-year-old man who went missing late Wednesday evening has been found safe.
The 84-year-old, who has Alzheimer’s disease, had last been seen near Mount Douglas Park in Saanich.
Just before 3 p.m. Thursday, Saanich police said the man has been found safe in Esquimalt. His family has been notified.
The Peninsula Emergency Measures Organization Search and Rescue assisted police with the search.
