UPDATE: Saanich police say missing 'high-risk' youth has been found and is safe

UPDATE: Saanich Police report on Thursday morning that the missing 12-year-old girl has been located and is safely back home.

 

Saanich police say they are looking for a missing 12-year-old girl who could be with an unknown man.

Police said Jenessa Shacter, 12, was dropped off at a bus stop at 50 Burnside Road West at around 8 a.m. on Monday. She was supposed to be on her way to school but she never arrived and has not been seen since.

Police said it’s possible Shacter is with an unknown man. Her family, friends and police are concerned about her well-being.

Shacter is described as 5’3,” 160 pounds with medium length hair dyed orange and blonde. She was last seen wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt with a white logo, ripped blue jeans and white runners.
