
Saanich Police say they are looking for witnesses to a bank robbery on Feb. 9.
Around 5 p.m., officers attended a bank on the 3600-block of Shelbourne Street for reports of a bank robbery in progress.
The suspect had entered the bank and presented a note to a teller demanding money.
The suspect left through the front doors, and was last seen heading towards Pear Street.
Police says despite officers presence, the suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian man, 30 years old, 5’5” tall, medium build, wearing all black clothing and a black mask. A photo of the suspect is below.
Investigators are asking anyone that may have witnessed this incident or captured the suspect on their vehicle’s dash camera to contact Saanich Police at 250-475-4321.
