Saanich Fire says crews responded to a kitchen fire at a home on Tattersall Drive late Monday night.
As of 10 p.m., fire officials said crews were still at the scene in the 900-block of Tattersall, although a few engines had already left.
Witness Alex Dabrowski said on Twitter shortly after 9:30 p.m. that a female had been placed on a stretcher and put into an ambulance, and emergency vehicles continued to block Tattersall between Savannah and Saanich Roads.
