Everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed antihero appears to have taken up a new hobby.

The new teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated Deadpool 2 was released on Wednesday and opens with the comic book character, played by Vancouver-native Ryan Reynolds, paying homage to the late TV painter Bob Ross in a segment called “Wet on Wet.”

After several minutes of a monologue full of innuendo and detailed paintings that suddenly appears on the canvas, some footage from the movie is shown. Deadpool, Cable (Josh Brolin), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) are all seen in the teaser.

The clip then goes back to Deadpool in front of the canvas with a painting of a Thanksgiving dinner featuring the antihero and Cable at the head of the table.

“Hugs not drugs,” Deadpool says before the credits roll.

Deadpool 2 hits theatres on June 1, 2018. Part of the movie was filmed at Hatley Castle in Colwood. Reynolds even posted a photo on social media of himself lying in front of Hatley castle with the caption, “Dropped by X-Mansion. Looked closely for Beast’s lawn bombs before taking well deserved nap.”
