WATCH: The Victoria Royals scored a franchise record 10 goals on Friday night, to defeat the Kootenay Ice 10-3 at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre on Teddy Toss Night.
For the second consecutive year, Royals forward Eric Florchuk scored the teddy tossing goal, as hundreds, if not thousands of teddies were thrown onto the ice, with all of them donated to local charities. It was a much needed victory for the Royals, who went winless on their recent Eastern Conference road trip.
