WATCH: Finding themselves down 2 to 0 in the final minutes of the game, the Victoria Royals used a late push to force overtime, and eventually defeat the Seattle Thunderbirds 3 to 2 on the road last night.
Royals captain Matthew Phillips scored two goals on the night to put him at 38 goals on the season, while Jeff de Wit scored the game-tying goal with four minutes left in regulation.
The weekend sweep was huge for the Royals, who were coming off a 7 to 1 loss to Tri-City in the middle of the week.
The Royals now head to Portland on Wednesday before returning home for a crucial weekend series against the Kelowna Rockets.
