WATCH: They’re not the top team in the Western Conference for nothing. The Everett Silvertips flexed their muscles in a 3-0 victory over the Victoria Royals at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday night.
Royals netminder Griffen Outhouse kept the Royals in the game early, making a handful of point-blank stops to keep the visitors off the scoreboard.
However, the Silvertips would solve Outhouse in the second period off a rebound, with top scorer Zack Andrusiak potting his 31st goal of the season to open the scoring.
The Royals offence was hard pressed for good chances, and while they got a few, the Victoria forwards couldn’t beat the Everett netminder.
The Royals hit the road to take on the Vancouver Giants on Sunday afternoon. Full highlights tomorrow on CHEK.
