Suspect sought after robbery at Saanich 7-11

Saanich police say they are looking for one suspect after an overnight robbery at a 7-11 store at 10 Burnside Road West.

Police said on April 9 at 1:30 a.m. a male suspect entered the store, told the clerk that he had a gun and demanded money from the register.

The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.

No gun was ever seen by the clerk.

Police went to the store and area, but the man was not located.

The suspect is described by police as a Caucasian male, approximately 20 years old, 5’6”-5’10” with a thin build, short brown hair, wearing a black Carhart hooded jacket, black Jordan branded pants and black shoes. Police have released a picture of what Jordan-branded pants look like.
