Road to Recovery: Indigenous collaboration for mutual prosperity

In this week’s segment of Road to Recovery with Douglas Magazine, CHEK’s Hannah Lepine chats with Jasmine Retzer, the operations manager at Salish Seaside RV Haven.

Salish Seaside RV Haven isn’t your typical RV park. For one thing, it’s located directly in Victoria’s harbour, as close to the water as you can get. For another, it’s a fully Indigenous-owned business, held jointly by the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations.

In this segment, Retzer talks about how the collaboration between the two nations has been so successful and how they celebrated Indigenous culture through the park’s recent redesign.
