CHEK

In this week’s segment of Road to Recovery with Douglas Magazine, CHEK’s Jasmine Bala chats with Erin Skillen, founder of Content4Good.

Skillen is a writer, speaker, facilitator and consultant for businesses and organizations. Through Content4Good, Skillen provides consultations, content creation, facilitation, presentations and programs on leadership and teams.

Content4Good helps businesses improve their culture and engagement through building team connections, creating and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and working on employee engagement and well-being.

Skillen describes her mission on her website as collaborating with organizations “that are seeking to increase employee engagement, increase job satisfaction and actively demonstrate empathy, respect and compassion for their teams.”

She says people are coming out of the pandemic realizing they want and deserve better.

“[It] has given us a rare opportunity to stop as a society, think deeply about what we need and re-design how we work to meet those needs,” Skillen adds.

Skillen discusses in this episode why fear-based, toxic leadership is out and why humanistic leadership is the way of the future.

Road to Recovery is done in partnership with Douglas Magazine.
