WATCH: Final preparations are underway for the Westshore Rebels as they host the Okanagan Sun on Saturday at Westhills Stadium.
The Rebels, who are coming off a 19-16 win over the Langley Rams in week 1, will host their home opener in front of the Victoria fans this weekend, looking to build off a Cullen Cup final performance last season. Meanwhile, the visiting Okanagan Sun are coming off a 56-6 shellacking of the Kamloops Broncos to open the season and are poised for another big run at the BCFC title. Rebels Head Coach Charly Cardilicchia addressed that the team needs to work on its discipline, but overall he’s happy with the work ethic of the group and the chemistry that’s already forming within the team.
Opening kick off is set for 4 p.m.
