The Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Errington woman who was last seen in mid-February.

Mounties are searching for 45-year-old Sara Sherry, who was last in contact with family members on Feb. 15 and who was reported missing two days later on Feb. 17.

Investigators believe that Sherry was last seen driving in the area of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Mounties add that it’s possible she may have driven onto other logging roads off the Northwest Bay Logging Road on the south side of Highway 19.

Sherry is described as a Caucasian woman who stands 5’3” tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has green eyes and blonde hair.

Her vehicle is described as a grey 2017 Nissan Frontier pickup truck with B.C. licence plate ML 6181.

“It is unusual for Sara to be out of contact with her family for this length of time and they are very concerned for her well-being,” said Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP in a release Wednesday.

“Arrowsmith Search and Rescue are assisting in the search for Sara and her vehicle,” he said. “We are asking that if anyone sees Sara or her vehicle, that they immediately contact police.”
