Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing woman.
According to the North Cowichan RCMP, Jessica James, 40, was last seen in the West Shore area in fall of 2020 and has not been heard from since.
James is described as a five-foot-five inch tall slender-build woman with green eyes and brown hair. She has several tattoos on her left arm.
BC RCMP Cpl. Chris Manseau told CHEK News that the family only recently reported James missing because it isn’t uncommon for her to be away for extended periods of time without contacting them.
He also said police have followed up on various tips but have not been able to find James and that her family is concerned for her safety.
