The Comox Valley RCMP are searching for witnesses after a man was seen exposing himself in the Northeast Woods area of Comox.

The Comox Valley RCMP are searching for witnesses after a man was seen exposing himself in the Northeast Woods area of Comox.

In a press release, police say that they received a report from a woman who was out walking on the trails in the area on January 18.

The woman told police that between 3:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., she saw a young man exposing himself, who was also out walking along the trails.

The woman described the man as approximately 20 years old, tall and thin with medium length hair.

He was said to be wearing tight clothing and walking a medium-sized black and white dog.

“The man was last seen running toward the parking lot at the end of Torrence Road,” said Cst. Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer with Comox Valley RCMP.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw this man, knows him, or might have dashcam footage from the parking lot.”
