Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a suspect tonight following an armed robbery at a Tim Hortons in the 300-block of Lerwick Road in Courtenay early Thursday morning.
Police say a lone male entered the business around 2:15 a.m. brandishing a knife and demanded money from one of the restaurant’s employees.
The employee complied with the demands and no one was injured.
The suspect then fled in a vehicle described as a smaller 1990’s red extended cab pickup truck with a black canopy.
He is described as approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a dark grey hoodie with blue accents, dark pants and running shoes.
