RCMP say missing man found, but providing no information on condition

UPDATE: Family have confirmed on social media that Clifford Boutilier was discovered deceased. The BC Coroner’s Service say they can confirm the death.

RCMP said Friday May 26 that Boutilier had been located, but say they cannot specify whether he was found alive or dead.

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are searching for a 50-year-old man who was last seen on May 21. 

Clifford Boutilier, 50.

Clifford Boutilier is described as Caucasian, with hazel eyes and light brown hair that is usually kept short and is balding on the top. He is 5’11,” 209 pounds and has full-sleeved tattoos on both arms. 

Police said Boutilier may have been in a red short-box GMC pick-up truck with side-step fenders. The British Columbia licence plate of the truck is 1600XK.

Police said Boutilier may be associated with this truck.
