RCMP are searching for one suspect after an armed robbery at the 7-11 on Dogwood Street in Campbell River.
At 3 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the store after a hold-up alarm was activated. Police said an employee told police that a man carrying a wood dowel and a knife had fled with a small amount of cash. The man allegedly threatened the employee and smashed a glass countertop during the robbery.
The man is described by police as approximately 6’0″ (183 centimetres) with a slender/skinny build. He was wearing black track pants and a green jacket with a hood. He had a blue item wrapped around his face to hide his features.
