Police are investigating after two people were found dead in a home in Parksville.
Oceanside RCMP say officers responded to a home in the 700-block of Soriel Road shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday after someone called 911 to report two unconscious people inside the residence.
When officers arrived and entered the north Parksville home, they found two people dead, both of whom resided at the property.
“Based on the scene examination, police believe these deaths to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the public,” Stg. Stephen Rose, acting detachment commander of the Oceanside RCMP, said in a press release.
RCMP did not provide any further details circumstances surrounding the deaths, however, CHEK News has learned that police are investigating the deaths as a possible murder-suicide.
