RCMP investigate reports of suspicious male approaching teens in Campbell River

Campbell River RCMP says they are looking into several reports of a suspicious male approaching teenage girls over the last few weeks.

The male is believed to be in his fifties and all the incidents have happened during daylight hours in the Dogwood area between 9th Avenue and 2nd Avenue.

On two occasions, the girls were approached by the male and asked if they wanted a ride in his vehicle.

RCMP says they are reminding people to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behaviour to police, prior to posting on social media.
