Lake Cowichan RCMP is looking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for a break-and-enter at a local store.
Police say the Fields Department Store on South Shore Road was targeted between the evening of Friday, April 6 and the early morning of Saturday, April 7.
The person or persons responsible are thought to have loaded up a vehicle parked in the lot of the municipal offices next to the store with stolen items before fleeing the area.
Police say that this is not likely the first time that those responsible have engaged in this type of activity.
