The Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person in relation to an ongoing investigation into an incident that occurred at around 1 p.m. on April 18 in central Nanaimo. 

The Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person in relation to an investigation, ongoing since April.

The incident police are looking into occurred at around 1 p.m. on April 18 in central Nanaimo.

Police describe the individual as a “muscular” Caucasian male between the ages of 18-20 years old. He is also said to have a buzz cut, a large beard, and numerous tattoos on his arms and neck.

According to Nanaimo RCMP, the individual was reported to be driving a small green vehicle with “white over the wheel wells.” Police also say there was also “white on the back of the vehicle.”

Officers believe the vehicle may have been seen driving throughout central Nanaimo on April 18 as well.

Nanaimo RCMP said they are not “at liberty” to discuss the nature of the allegations and no further information about the investigation was provided.

RCMP did not provide a photo of the individual in question.
